The MAGUS Bio D250T LCD biological microscope is a professional instrument for observing biological samples in transmitted light. The main microscopy technique used is brightfield (immediately accessible). Darkfield, phase contrast, and polarized-light observation techniques can also be used, but require accessories that must be added to the microscope. This microscope is ideal for laboratory observations and research in the medical, pharmaceutical, forensic, agricultural, and various other fields.

Digital camera

MAGUS CHD10 is a camera with an HDMI interface. The camera is equipped with a 2 MP sensor and produces realistic Full HD images at a resolution of 1920x1080 pixels.
This is a standalone camera that does not require a computer connection or the installation of additional software. The camera can be connected directly to a TV, monitor, or projector to display an image.
The HDMI interface enables fast and stable transmission from the camera to an external screen. Video is recorded at 60 fps.
The camera combines a high FPS rate with high HDMI bandwidth. As a result, videos are bright, with no freezing or skipped frames. At maximum resolution, the image is highly detailed, moving objects are visible without errors, and movement is displayed without delay.

Monitor

MAGUS MCD monitors work with MAGUS CHD cameras to form a complete imaging system for MAGUS microscopes.
The camera is connected via its HDMI interface. The monitor displays images in real time. Its IPS LCD display has a wide viewing angle, high brightness, and good contrast. The image is not distorted even when viewing the screen from a wide angle. The screen size is 13.3''.
The monitor can be placed on a horizontal surface using a folding stand or mounted directly on a camera or tripod.

Optics

Plan achromatic objectives provide clear images rich in contrast and detail, with minimal aberrations. Using the objectives and eyepieces included in the package, magnification ranges from 40x to 1000x, but the upper limit can be increased by using additional eyepieces. The optics are corrected to infinity, which means that various other accessories can be inserted into the optical path.

The trinocular head has a separate vertical tube for mounting a digital camera (not included). This optical tube is positioned vertically. The trinocular head is equipped with 360° swiveling optical tubes, and the diopters can be adjusted using a ring on the left eyepiece tube. The trinocular head design makes it easy to adjust the interpupillary distance to suit the observer's height.

The nosepiece, with its objectives, faces inward and can hold 5 objectives at the same time: 4 are included in the package, and the fifth slot remains empty. An additional objective can provide a further magnification factor within the available magnification range.

Illumination

The 30 W halogen lamp provides bright illumination and good visibility of sample structures with any observation technique and any objective. The light has a warm color temperature, which is more comfortable for the eyes during long working hours. A brightness control is provided. The light is powered by the AC mains.

Köhler illumination can be configured using the centrable, height-adjustable Abbe condenser, the aperture diaphragm, and the field diaphragm. The condenser has a slot for inserting a darkfield slider or a phase-contrast slider. Using a slider allows you to switch quickly between observation techniques, thereby improving microscope performance.

Stage and focusing mechanism

The stage has no positioning rack, making it more ergonomic. The mechanical insert moves the sample smoothly and can be removed for manual scanning.

The focusing knobs are positioned on both sides of the microscope, near the stand base. Their position allows you to adjust image sharpness with your hands resting on the table rather than held in midair, ensuring greater comfort during prolonged observations. The knobs are coaxial (centered on the same axis). The coarse focusing mechanism has a locking knob, and the tension of the coarse-focus adjustment can be adjusted. Overall, the focusing mechanism operates smoothly, without requiring excessive force on the knobs to achieve the desired sharpness.

Accessories

The range of optional accessories includes eyepieces, objectives, polarization instruments, darkfield condensers, phase-contrast devices, calibration slides, and digital cameras. Designed specifically for the MAGUS Bio 250T, these accessories fit the microscope perfectly and maximize its capabilities.
