MAGUS Metal 630 BD metallurgical microscope for bright-field, dark-field, and polarization microscopy techniques. Powerful halogen illumination produces a high-quality image with any objective lens and microscopy method. Optics

The trinocular head is equipped with a trinocular tube for mounting a digital camera (not included). The light beam can be directed to the eyepieces or the trinocular tube using the camera/eyepiece light-path selector knob. The trinocular head is inclined at 30° for comfortable observation. The diopter adjustment ring is located on the left optical tube.

Once the objectives included in the kit are mounted on the revolving nosepiece, one slot will remain available for an additional objective. All standard objectives are plan achromatic, with a long working distance, and suitable for bright-field and dark-field microscopy.

Illumination

For dark-field observations, the microscope features a higher-power halogen lamp (50 W). The reflected-light illumination system also includes a set of filters, field and aperture diaphragms, a dark-field device, an integrated analyzer, and a removable polarizer. The apertures and light source can be centered. Köhler illumination can be configured.

Stage and focusing mechanism

The microscope features an attractively designed stand and focusing mechanism, and the sample being analyzed can be of any size and height. It is also compact, allowing the microscope to be placed on surfaces up to 40 cm high. The coarse and fine focusing knobs are coaxial and located on both sides of the microscope body. Coarse focus tension can also be adjusted.
