MAGUS Bio 240T is a compact biological microscope for education and research. Designed for observing transparent and translucent samples of biological origin using the brightfield method. The microscope features a coded nosepiece that maintains the selected light intensity for each objective, and an LCD screen that displays operating parameters.

The Bio 240T model is equipped with a trinocular head with a vertical tube for mounting a digital camera. Beam splitter 0/100 and 100/0. The microscope head optics are infinity-corrected. The tubes rotate by 360 degrees. The user can adjust the interpupillary distance and set it to the desired position. The two eyepiece tubes are equipped with diopter adjustment rings, allowing the user to adjust image sharpness to suit their vision. The microscope features 2 standard 10x/20 mm eyepieces. They are equipped with rubber eyecups, which are practical for eyeglass wearers as they prevent potential damage to their glasses.

The nosepiece is designed for 4 objectives. The nosepiece is positioned away from the user, keeping the stage area clear. The intelligent illumination remembers the light intensity settings for each objective, so when the objective is changed, the desired brightness is switched on automatically. Consequently, there is no drastic difference in brightness between objectives, and the eyes do not become strained. In addition, time is saved on light adjustment, especially when magnification needs to be changed frequently.

The microscope is equipped with coaxially positioned fine and coarse focusing knobs. The handles are positioned at the base of the microscope: the user can rest their hands on the table and adopt a comfortable posture. The coarse focus locking knob is on the left. It is used for adjustment after changing the objective. The ring on the right side adjusts the tension of the coarse focus adjustment screw.

The stage for observing samples is equipped with a belt-driven mechanism that gently moves the sample across the stage. The slide holder is mounted with two screws, or it can be removed completely if necessary.

Another feature of the microscope is the Abbe condenser, which is fixed and centered on the optical axis. Since it is fixed, the condenser cannot be moved accidentally. This feature is very important for educational microscopes.
The condenser has a numerical aperture of 1.25. The body displays the magnification values of the objective. The iris diaphragm is adjusted using a knob, set to a specific level according to the selected objective. This provides excellent image contrast and makes the sample more visible.

The microscope's light source is a 3 W LED light with a service life of 50000 hours. The illuminator allows the color temperature to be changed between 3000 and 7000K. The user can set the desired value according to the desired study parameters.

All selected settings, such as the magnification of the objective in use, illumination characteristics, and operating mode, are displayed on the LCD screen. The light can be adjusted, standby mode set, and automatic shutoff configured using the two knobs.

The microscope has a practical, functional design. After the microscope is installed in the work area, the power supply and power cable are hidden from the user's view, and the side openings in the stand serve as handles for carrying and moving the microscope.
