The MAGUS Stereo 9T stereomicroscope forms an upright, three-dimensional image and has a large working distance. You can examine samples and also perform experiments on them. The Greenough-type optical design produces sharp, three-dimensional images, which is essential for highly precise observations. The microscope features zoom and two illuminators (transmitted and reflected light) and can be upgraded with additional accessories. An excellent choice for restoration work, soldering, model making, machinery repairs, and quality control.

Optics

The microscope features a trinocular head with a trinocular tube for mounting a camera. A C-mount adapter is included; however, the digital camera must be purchased separately. The trinocular head rotates 360°. The zoom objective, used with a 10x eyepiece, provides magnification from 7x to 63x. Thanks to the zoom objective, magnification changes without reducing focus. Using additional objectives (not included), you can change the magnification range, working distance, and field of view of the microscope. Optional accessories allow you to increase the microscope's magnification up to 315x.

Illumination

The work area is illuminated by two LED illuminators: a transmitted-light illuminator rated at 5 W and an oblique reflected-light illuminator rated at 3 W. Both illuminators are powered by an AC source, are bright, and do not change color temperature when the brightness is adjusted. They have a service life of 50000 hours.

Stage and focusing mechanism

One of the included plates is placed on the stage: a black-and-white plate, a white plate, or a transparent plate. The first plate is used to observe opaque objects and produces a high-contrast image. Dark-colored samples are examined on the white side, while light-colored samples are examined on the black side. The white and transparent plates are used to observe translucent or transparent samples when maximum brightness and uniform illumination of the work area are desired.

The microscope has coarse and fine focusing mechanisms. Fine focusing is used at magnifications greater than 40x. Coarse focusing has tension adjustment.

Accessories

To expand the microscope's capabilities, you can use additional accessories such as eyepieces, auxiliary lenses, calibration slides, and digital cameras. A device for polarized-light observations can also be installed.
