The Levenhuk 500T is a laboratory microscope with variable magnification from 40x to 1000x. It is equipped with wide-field achromatic optics that produce clear, sharp images. Since halogen light is used to illuminate the specimen, the image looks realistic, and all the specimen’s colors and details are clear and crisp. This microscope is a real gem for work in research laboratories, medical centers, or veterinary clinics.

The trinocular head consists of an eyepiece tube and a vertical tube for mounting a digital camera (not included). The head can be rotated 360°. The kit includes a wide-field eyepiece and four achromatic objectives with different magnifications. The focus of the optics can be adjusted using the fine and coarse focusing knobs located on the base of the microscope. This microscope is designed for brightfield observations. The 100x objective can be used for oil-immersion observations. To protect the front lens, the 40x and 100x objectives are equipped with a spring mechanism.

A mechanical stage is mounted on the specimen stage to help position the specimen quickly and precisely beneath the objective. An adjustable-height Abbe condenser for brightfield observation is located beneath the stage. The condenser has an iris diaphragm and a filter holder. The illumination system consists of a halogen bulb with a collector. The powerful bulb provides uniform, intense illumination of the working area. The light intensity is adjustable. The microscope is powered by AC mains.
