The Levenhuk 850B is a biological binocular microscope equipped with plan achromatic optics for brightfield observations in transmitted light. It is used in various types of medical centers for urological, dermatological, biological, biochemical, anatomical-pathological, cytological and general clinical laboratory research.

The microscope is equipped with a 360º rotating binocular head with a 30º inclination angle and a nosepiece for 4 objectives. The nosepiece and its objectives face inward: the user can see which objective is in the optical path, and the space above the stage remains clear. The interpupillary distance is adjustable over a wide range. The set includes 10x eyepieces with a field of view of 22 mm, allowing a large area of the specimen to be viewed.

The microscope is focused using coarse and fine focusing knobs. The focusing handles move the stage vertically and horizontally along two perpendicular axes. The stage has no positioning rack. The stage knob is located at the bottom for improved user comfort. The specimen holder is designed to hold two specimens. Thanks to the smooth focusing adjustment and stage movement mechanism, movements are simple and quick.

Using an LED light source increases the microscope's resolution. The LED is mounted on the base, its brightness can be adjusted, and it has a long service life before replacement is needed. The field and aperture diaphragms enable the Köhler illumination method. The illuminator operates on AC power (a 220 V power cable is included).

Warning: For information about the correct mains voltage, consult the specifications table.
