A unique feature of these models is the zoom with a Barlow lens inserted into the eyepiece tube: with an additional retractable lens, magnification can be adjusted continuously up to 2x during visual observation. This means that, together with the interchangeable 3 objectives and 2 wide-field eyepieces, magnifications from 40x to 1600x are possible.

The Bresser Junior school microscope features adjustable LED illumination for incident and transmitted light, with a filter holder, color filters and diaphragms. This means the illumination can always be adjusted optimally. Thanks to the additional incident illumination, opaque objects such as leaves, small insects and many other items can also be observed. It is battery-powered (3 AA batteries), so you can make observations even when there is no power outlet nearby.
