Novosyn CHD absorbable suture is designed for medium-term use and is made from polyglactin 910, a combination of polyglycolic acid and lactic acid. It is enriched with chlorhexidine diacetate to reduce the risk of bacterial infections. This suture offers high tissue compatibility, degrading through hydrolysis with predictable and reliable absorption. Available in purple or colorless thread, it guarantees 50% partial absorption in 21 days and complete absorption in 56–70 days.
