Purple, absorbable synthetic suture VCP397H FS2 4-0 VICRYL PLUS

Absorbable, braided antibacterial suture - Color: purple. Material: glycolic acid and lactic acid copolymer (polyglactin 910) - Coating type: polyglactin 370, calcium stearate, and Irgacare MP. Thanks to the action of Irgacare MP (Triclosan), it offers protection against the most common surgical site infections. It has the same handling and surgical performance as Vycril.

Made of a copolymer of glycolic acid and lactic acid with a coating containing a broad-spectrum antibacterial agent (Irgacare MP - Triclosan) that prevents colonization by Staphylococci and methicillin-resistant strains.
Tensile strength of 75% after 2 weeks and 50% after 3 weeks which guarantees holding strength on the flaps up to 35 days after surgery.

Hydrolytic absorption is minimal up to the 40th day; complete between the 56th and 70th day.
Particularly suitable for the approximation and/or ligation of soft tissues.
Sterilized by ethylene oxide.
