The LSH Ab (Leishmania) + Dirofilaria Ag (CHW) + Ehrlichia Ab (EHR) triple test is a rapid immunochromatographic test used for the qualitative detection of virus antibodies in canine serum, plasma or whole blood.

OPERATING PRINCIPLE
The lateral-flow immunochromatographic test has a test window. The test window has a T (test) zone and a C (control) zone that are invisible before the sample is added. When the sample is applied to the well, the liquid flows laterally across the surface of the test strip. If the sample contains a sufficient amount of antibodies, a visible band will appear in the T zone. The C band, which serves as a procedural control, should always appear after a sample is applied and indicates a valid result.

SAMPLE PREPARATION
Collect whole blood, serum or plasma according to standard laboratory procedures.
For serum or plasma samples: centrifuge the dog's blood sample to obtain serum or plasma; use the serum or plasma directly for testing.
Note: Serum or plasma is recommended to increase the test's sensitivity.

TEST PROCEDURE
Open the aluminum foil pouch, remove the test cassette and place it on a clean, flat surface
Use the supplied pipette to transfer 1 drop of sample (10 μL) into each well of the test cassette.
When performing the procedure, make sure no air bubbles form inside the pipette.
Wait until the sample has been completely absorbed; then add 3 drops of the supplied diluent (80 μL) to each well of the test cassette.
Interpret the results within 5-10 minutes. Results are not accurate after 10 minutes.

INTERPRETATION OF RESULTS
- Positive test: two lines are visible in the cassette reaction area (both the C and T lines).
- Negative test: only one line is visible in the area (C).
- Invalid test: if no control line (C) appears after the test, the result is considered invalid. The presence or absence of the (T) line cannot be taken into account. In this case, the test procedure may not have been followed correctly or a test past its expiration date may have been used; repeat the test with another pack.
The presence of a line near the letter (C) indicates the control line and confirms that the test was performed correctly.
The (C) line is not a reference line and may differ in intensity from the (T) line.

TEST STORAGE
Store the tests at room temperature (4 ~ 30°C). Do not refrigerate.
Do not store in direct sunlight. The test is valid until the expiration date printed on the package.
