Microscope head MAGUS Stereo 7TH

The microscope head is used together with a universal stand and a focusing mount. It is designed for observing three-dimensional objects and the details of their structure while preserving the virtual volume and clarity of surface relief.
The Greenough-type optical design provides a wide depth of field and produces three-dimensional images thanks to a stereo angle of 15°. The microscope head magnifies an object's image without losing its spatial orientation.
Mounted on a universal stand, the head can be used for restoration, soldering, assembly, quality control and other similar tasks.

Microscope head type

The microscope head is trinocular; a digital camera is installed on the trinocular tube using a C-mount adapter. Additional auxiliary objective lenses with different magnifications are available.
The basic kit includes 10x/22 mm eyepieces with diopter adjustment and long eye relief for use with glasses.

Zoom

The objective smoothly increases magnification up to 6,7x without loss of focus. The optical design produces an upright (non-inverted), three-dimensional image. Additional auxiliary objectives can increase the magnification range and change the field of view and working distance of the microscope.

Accessories

A range of accessories is available for this microscope.
Eyepieces and auxiliary objectives can extend the microscope's magnification range.
C-mount adapters connect the camera to the microscope; the adapter magnification is selected according to the size of the camera sensor.
A digital camera transmits the microscope image to a monitor.
A calibration slide enables precise measurement of samples. The scale value on the calibration slide for stereo microscopes is 0.1 mm.
Ring illuminator for shadow-free illumination of the work area during reflected-light observations.
A ring illuminator with a polarizer removes reflections from images captured of polished metal surfaces.
A ring illuminator with sector switching and a flexible-neck light is used for fine adjustment of work-area illumination. The light is set at the selected angle and creates the highlights and shadows needed for examination while keeping the correct part of the sample illuminated.
Universal stands expand the work area and offer greater freedom in choosing the position of the microscope head above the work area.
