PERFUSOR COMPACT PLUS
The Perfusor® compactplus infusion pump is a portable syringe pump for infusion, intended for use with authorized syringes and accessories. The pump is intended for use in neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients for the continuous or intermittent administration of parenteral and enteral solutions through clinically appropriate access routes. These access routes include, but are not limited to, intravenous, intra-arterial, subcutaneous, epidural, and enteral routes. The system is used for the administration of medications intended for infusion therapy. These include anesthetics, sedatives, analgesics, catecholamines, etc.; blood or blood components; parenteral or enteral nutrition solutions; and lipids. The device utilizes the piston cross-section of a validated syringe, automatically identified by the syringe hook to correlate its controlled linear displacement with the infusion rate. The Perfusor Compact Plus pump offered here works with validated syringes and extensions with universal connectors for connecting needles, cannulas, or other injection devices of various sizes. Perfusor® compactplus may only be used by healthcare professionals trained in its correct use, in hospitals, at home, in outpatient clinics, and on medical transport. The physician must decide on the possible uses based on the properties guaranteed by the manufacturer and the technical specifications.
