GIMA 's Cardio B handheld ECG is a compact, portable device designed for daily monitoring of cardiac activity , ideal for general practitioners, occupational physicians and for home use by patients suffering from cardiovascular diseases such as hypertension or coronary heart disease.

To be used exclusively as a first screening tool , it is not indicated for use on newborns and does not replace a multi-lead ECG for in-depth clinical analyses.

The device allows ECG detection in four modes :

• on the palm
• on the leg
• on the chest
• via cable and electrodes (optional accessory)

The measurements, lasting 30 seconds , can be stored for up to 1200 traces or 10 hours of continuous recording . The collected data can be used as a reference for clinical applications and analyzed through automatic reports of 17 different types .

The device is equipped with a USB 2.0 interface for connection to a PC (optional cable and software), allowing advanced data management.
