The professional scientific camera MAGUS CBF70 is designed for use with a microscope as well as 4x, 10x, 20x and 40x objectives. The device allows you to take photographs, shoot videos, organize demonstrations, display images on an external screen and perform angular and linear measurements of study objects (for this function to work correctly, the software must be calibrated). The camera is recommended for working with the bright field method.
Graphic features
The MAGUS CBF70 camera has five image resolution and frame rate modes, so you can easily find the one that best suits your needs: 5280x3954 px (17 fps), 3952x3952 px (17 fps), 2640x1976 px (56 fps), 1760x1316 px (67 fps) and 584x438 px (192 fps).
High resolution modes are ideal for photography, allowing you to create clear, vivid and highly detailed images. Increased frame rate modes will help when recording smooth and informative videos, without jumps and delays, recording the smallest movements of the object or characteristics of rapid processes observed.
To achieve the best image quality without distortion, we recommend using an adapter with 1x magnification.
Sensor
The camera design uses a 4/3” back-illuminated SONY Exmor CMOS color sensor. It makes the image bright even in a low-light environment. The larger physical size of the sensor helps the displayed colors appear deeper and the image clearer.
Additional Features
The camera is equipped with a USB 3.0 interface for fast data transfer.
The device comes with the necessary software to use the camera functions: it allows you to take photographs, record videos, edit, view and save videos, and display images on an external screen (for your own convenience and for demonstration to spectators in the audience).
Camera Installation
The camera is installed in the trinocular tube of the microscope (using a C-mount adapter) or in the eyepiece tube (using an adapter and an adapter ring corresponding to the diameter of the eyepiece tube).
