- Disarming once charged, the I-PAD disarms itself if :


• The patient's heart rhythm changes to a non-traumatic rhythmic pattern


• the discharge button is not pressed within 15 seconds after the I-PAD is charged


• the ON/OFF button is pressed to turn off the I-PAD


• The defibrillator paddles are removed from the patient


• the paddle connector is disconnected from the I-PAD
