The Levenhuk Discovery Artisan 256 is a digital microscope with LCD screen and rechargeable battery suitable for a wide variety of professional tasks. It can be used for metalworking quality control, soldering, electronic circuits, and watch repair. In addition, it can be used for jewelry and appraisal of art objects, to visualize the structure of minerals or coins, and much more. A hand-held microscope is often used to check merchandise in stores for mold growing on fruits and vegetables. The microscope is simple to use. It can be placed side by side with a computer (Windows and Mac OS are supported) or a TV and also allows you to take photos, record videos and measure distances, angles, radii and areas.

The image consists of a built-in 5 MP camera and up to 12 MP with interpolation. The lighting system surrounding the lens consists of 8 white LED with adjustable brightness. When not needed, the lighting can be turned off. The magnification of the microscope varies between 20x and 500x, the focus can be adjusted in manual mode in a range from 0 to 30 mm.

The microscope body is protected by a rubber cover, which provides a comfortable grip. The set includes a small stand. You can use it for extended observations. To facilitate the transport of the microscope, a case is included.

Tips for using the software:

• For the program to work properly, start the installed application only when the microscope is connected to the PC and ready for observations.
• Once connected to your PC, the tool does not support the magnification change functionality.

Note: Keep in mind that the mains voltage in the United States and Canada is 110 V, while in most European countries it is 220–240 V. For information on the correct mains voltage, refer to the specification table. Never attempt to connect a 110V device to a 220V power outlet, or vice versa, without using a voltage converter.

The Levenhuk Discovery Artisan 256 Digital Microscope is not compatible with external digital cameras.
