The Levenhuk MED 400M monocular microscope is designed to carry out laboratory research on biological samples. It produces sharp, well-contrasted images and allows you to observe samples at varying magnification between 40x and 400x. This microscope is also suitable for use in medical, educational, and research institutions. The microscope has built-in LED light and is powered by batteries or AC mains.
The optical design includes a wide-field eyepiece and achromatic objectives with various magnifications. The overall magnification of this optical system allows it to be used with medium-large sized structures. For added convenience, the monocular muzzle is tilted at 45° and rotates 360°. These features make the microscope optimal for both individual and group work.
The table is equipped with two clips immediately below, there is an Abbe condenser with iris diaphragm. Optical filters can be installed using a special holder (the kit includes three filters: blue, green and yellow). Focusing is operated by means of a classic coaxial mechanism. Coarse and fine focus adjustment are available.
The lighting system consists of a LED light with collector. It is located in the lower portion of the microscope. The system is equipped with brightness adjustment. Thanks to its battery power, the Levenhuk 400M is a portable device that can be used even where the mains does not reach.
The body is made of metal, which makes the microscope durable and ensures a long service life.
