Digital Microscope Levenhuk DTX 700 Mobi

The Levenhuk DTX 700 Mobi is a portable microscope that is practical to carry. Thanks to its design, it fits easily into a backpack and is comfortable to move even with one hand. This microscope is very light and can therefore be a great tool for a child. In any case, the DTX 700 Mobi Levenhuk is primarily designed to assist professional activity. It is useful in the study of works of art, minerals, coins, and metal sections. It can also be used to certify the quality of welds and repair electrical devices. A hand-held microscope is often used to check merchandise in stores for mold growing on fruits and vegetables.

The image is reproduced via a digital camera with a 5 MP sensor. It transmits a high-resolution colour image to the built-in LCD screen. The swivel screen can be positioned in the most convenient direction for observation while working. In addition, the microscope can capture images and record videos (memory card required, purchased separately). For this purpose, there is a special button on the microscope body. If required, the DTX 700 Mobi Levenhuk can also be connected to an external monitor, TV or computer. All the necessary cables are already included in the kit.

Before connecting the microscope to your computer, remember to install the included software. Through the application you will have access to additional features, such as measuring the linear and angular distances of the observed objects and adding texts and images to the photos taken.

The microscope allows you to work only with non-transparent samples of lights LED with adjustable brightness are used as a light source. There is a polarizing filter, which allows you to reduce glare and parasitic reflections when observing objects with shiny surfaces. The magnification is continuously variable in a range between 10 and 300x, a digital zoom allows you to reach a magnification of 1200x. The microscope is powered by battery power (which provides 2.5 hours of battery life) or via a power supply connected to the AC mains.

Software Tip: To make the PortableCapture Plus program (or its other versions) work properly, start the installed application only when the microscope is connected to a PC and is ready for observations.

Attention! The mains voltage in the United States and Canada is 110 V, while in most European countries it is 220–240 V. Refer to the specification table for the correct mains voltage and never attempt to connect a 110V device to the 220V socket and vice versa, without using a transformer.

The DTX 700 Mobi Levenhuk microscope is not compatible with external digital cameras.
