Coenzyme Q10 is a substance present in human tissues and represents an important physiological element for the proper functioning of the mitochondria, an intracellular organelle that acts as an "energy control unit". Mitochondria are present in all tissues and are found in greater numbers in tissues characterized by a particularly active oxidative metabolism such as the heart, skeletal muscle, brown adipose tissue, liver and brain.
Coenzyme Q10 plays a key role in transporting electrons across mitochondrial membranes and is involved in the processes that produce energy from food. Aging, exercise and stress decrease the concentration of coenzyme Q10.
MAXI COENZYME Q10 is a food supplement containing 100 mg of coenzyme Q10* per pearl in the form of Ubiquinone. Coenzyme Q10 can be suggested to supplement the diet in cases of reduced intake and increased need. The use of statins can reduce the production of coenzyme Q10 in the body.

How to use
