Objective for studying samples in polarized light, both transmitted and reflected. When producing lenses for polarizing objectives, efforts are made to avoid internal distortions so that the optics do not produce birefringence or affect observation.

The MAGUS SFR50 50x has a resolution limit of 0.39 µm. It is designed for an infinity-corrected optical system with a parfocal distance of 45 mm. The sample does not need to be covered with a coverslip for observation.

A plan achromatic objective corrects chromatic aberrations in red and blue, spherical aberrations in green, and geometric aberrations across 90% of the image area. The objective provides a wide, sharp field of view. It is suitable for use with a system equipped with a digital camera or wide-field eyepieces with a field of view of 22 mm. A 10x/22 mm eyepiece will provide a field of view of 0.44 mm. The image will be sharp both in the center and at the edges.

The possible magnification of a microscope with this objective ranges from 350x to 700x. To achieve the desired magnification, eyepieces with magnifications from 7x to 15x are recommended. Lower-magnification eyepieces will not allow the sample to be examined effectively, while an eyepiece with magnification greater than 15x will not provide any new data.
