Description
PEAK FLOW METER - 50-400 l/min - pediatric
Regular use of a peak expiratory flow meter can help keep asthma under control by detecting airway narrowing before the patient even feels any symptoms, giving them time to dose the medication before symptoms worsen. Suitable for adults and children aged 5 and over.
Main features:
- measures daily changes in breathing
- records the progress of asthma over time
- shows the effectiveness of the therapy
- recognizes the signs of a crisis before symptoms appear
- knows how to proceed when there are signs of an asthmatic crisis
- determines when it is appropriate to contact your doctor or emergency service
The Gima peak flow meter can be used together with the “Mobile PEF” App.

Green area: (normal) PEF >80%
Yellow area: (alarm) PEF =60%, Red area: (danger) PEF
