Description

GCE Zen-O with 2 x 12 cell 8 hour batteries

The Zen-O portable oxygen concentrator was designed to allow patients with respiratory disorders such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) to better manage their home oxygen therapy inside and outside their homes.

The Zen-O Portable Oxygen Concentrator offers freedom and peace of mind to its users by providing oxygen on the go in a pulsed flow.

Zen-O weighs just 4.66 kg and is capable of providing up to 2 liters per minute of oxygen in continuous flow and up to 6 liters per minute in pulsed flow. Zen-O comes with several accessories, including a carrying bag and a removable cart for greater mobility.

Zen-O's practical and robust design offers greater operational efficiency and low running costs for home care providers.

Zen-O was designed to easily replace molecular sieves. The filter block can be replaced directly using simple tools in less than 5 minutes, saving time and money.

Zen-O uses advanced technology to adjust the amount of oxygen in response to the patient's breathing rate and automatically increase the amount when the patient needs it most - such as when walking uphill.

FEATURES AND BENEFITS

Dual mode

The Zen-O portable oxygen concentrator is capable of providing up to 2 liters per minute of oxygen in continuous flow and up to 6 liters per minute in pulsed flow.

Easy to use

Zen-O is simple to use thanks to the LCD panel and intuitive buttons.

The Zen-O Portable Oxygen Concentrator is manufactured in the UK to high standards. GCE has offices in Latin America, China and several warehouses throughout Europe.

Replaceable molecular sieve block

Zen-O's convenient design makes it easy for the manufacturer or supplier to replace the molecular sieve block in less than 5 minutes using simple tools.

Audiovisual alarms

Zen-O has various audible and visual alarms to prompt the user for a specific operation. Among the various alarms there are: low battery, service required, breathing not detected.

The GCE Zen-O portable oxygen concentrator is indicated for people suffering from the following pathologies:

Chronic disorders and pathologies

COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease). COPD is a progressive disease in which damage to the alveoli prevents sufficient oxygen from passing into the blood. The adjective “progressive” means that the pathology tends to worsen over time.
Severe heart failure. In this disorder, the heart is unable to pump enough oxygen-rich blood to meet the body's needs.
Cystic fibrosis. Cystic fibrosis is an inherited disease of the exocrine glands, including those that produce mucus and sweat. In patients suffering from cystic fibrosis, the airways fill with thick, sticky mucus, which facilitates the proliferation of bacteria, causing serious and recurrent lung infections. Over time, infections can severely damage the lungs.
Sleep-related breathing disorders that cause oxygen levels to drop during sleep, such as sleep apnea.
Cluster headache. It is an extremely painful primary neurovascular headache. It has a periodic character, with active phases alternating with phases of spontaneous remission. These active phases are called "bunches" (or "clusters").

Acute disorders and pathologies

Severe pneumonia. Pneumonia is infection of one or both lungs. If it is severe, it causes deep inflammation of the alveoli, which then cannot exchange a sufficient amount of oxygen with the blood.
Severe asthma attacks. Asthma is a lung disease that inflames and narrows the bronchi. Most patients with asthma, including many children, can manage their symptoms safely, however, if asthma attacks are severe, the patient may require hospitalization for oxygen therapy.
Respiratory distress syndrome or bronchopulmonary dysplasia in children born prematurely. Premature newborns may suffer from one or both of these serious lung diseases. As part of their therapy, they may receive oxygen via a ventilator or continuous positive pressure nasal mask, or via a nasal cannula.

ATTENTION: the machine is recommended for patients who breathe up to 2-3 liters/min at rest
