The Diatermo MB 160D is a high-frequency electronic electrosurgical unit, designed for small and medium-sized surgeries. This device offers several operating modes, including pure cutting (CUT), coagulated cutting (BLEND), superficial coagulation (FORCED COAG), deep coagulation without carbonization (SOFT COAG) and bipolar coagulation (BIPOLAR) with specific adapter.

The power output is digitally displayed and the microcontroller monitors the operating functions, ensuring optimal conditions for the operation. The control system verifies the correct operation of the neutral electrode. The functions can be switched and the power controlled directly from the electrode handpiece, keeping the focus on the operating field.
