The Levenhuk Discovery Centi 01 microscope is a real gem for novice biology enthusiasts who want to see the incredible beauty of the microcosm and study the life of microorganisms. It is an easy-to-use microscope. It is suitable for the study of transparent specimens, including sets of prepared slides and came accompanied by an experiment kit and the educational book 'Invisible World'.
It is a monocular microscope model with a three-lens nosepiece and bottom illumination. The magnification range varies between 100x and 300x, which is sufficient for basic level observations. The stage has two sample clips and a disc diaphragm. The lighting solution is interesting: a dual system consisting of a classic mirror and a battery-powered incandescent bulb. As a result, both natural and artificial light can be used.
The set includes over 20 accessories. Among them, particularly noteworthy are prepared slides, blank slides and coverslips, all made of glass, equipment and chemicals to conduct various experiments. The basic set of the microscope already has everything you need to make it a perfect gift. Very useful for any aspiring microbiologist, the educational book 'Invisible World' presents the main information about the microcosm and proposes the best ways to study it. In addition, it contains not only theoretical hints, but also practical suggestions for performing simple scientific experiments.
An important distinguishing feature of this microscope: it is sold accompanied by a Levenhuk Discovery Flora and Fauna set that includes 24 slides with already prepared samples.
