We proudly present the Discovery optics series, produced by Levenhuk and endorsed by Discovery.

Levenhuk Discovery Crafts DGL 50 is a binocular magnifier with flip-up lenses: you can remove just one or both lenses at once. This is convenient when you need to view an object alternately with and without magnification. The magnifier has a short focal length and provides high magnification, so its main purpose is to carry out precise operations. These could include modeling, soldering, repairing mechanisms, evaluating surface defects, assessing jewelry, etc.

Interchangeable lenses come in pairs – 4 sets of 2 lenses each. The optics are made of polymer optical glass with a high degree of transparency. This is a very durable material, whose quality is no less effective than that of standard glass, and its resistance to damage may even surpass it. The lenses are attached to the eyeglass frame; the temples can be replaced with a textile headband, if necessary.

There are LEDs next to each lens. The illumination angle is adjustable, providing precise and convenient lighting for the work area. Batteries must be installed to power the illumination.
