SterilDec Plus Instrument Disinfectant Decontaminant
High performance disinfectant decontaminant for the disinfection of surgical instruments, medical and aesthetic instruments.

SterilDec Plus is a high-performance decontaminant for the treatment of surgical instruments and medical instruments, with a disinfectant action and neutral pH, therefore compatible with all materials, including aluminium.

SterilDec Plus decontaminant has a broad spectrum of action on bacteria (including MRSA, methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus), yeasts and mycobacteria. The product is also active against viruses (HIV, HBV, HCV).
The efficacy was also tested in the presence of organic material, such as blood, saliva and organic exudates.

Effectiveness and Contact Time:
- Bacteria - 1 minute
- Yeasts - 5 minutes
- Virus - 5 minutes
- Mycobacteria - 15 minutes

The synergic action of the active ingredients, Ammonium Propionate and Chlorhexidine, provides optimal performance. The effectiveness of these is further accelerated by the presence of added active enzymes, specifically designed to attack human/animal serum and maximize penetration into the macroprotein structure (i.e. between dirt molecules).
Being a neutral pH product, it does not generate any type of oxidation and does not contain corrosion inhibitors; it is safe in combinations of aluminum, tungsten, steel and other alloys, not causing browning of the metals.

- EN13727 - Quantitative suspension test for the evaluation of bactericidal activity in the medical area
- EN14348 - Quantitative suspension test for the evaluation of the mycobactericidal activity of chemical disinfectants in the medical field, including instrument disinfectants
- EN14476 - Quantitative suspension test for the evaluation of virucidal activity in the medical area
- EN14561 - Quantitative germ carrier test for the evaluation of bactericidal activity for instruments used in the medical area
- EN14562 - Quantitative germ carrier test for the evaluation of fungicidal or fermentative activity for instruments used in the medical area
- EN16777 - Quantitative test for non-porous surfaces to evaluate, without mechanical action, the antiviral activity of chemical disinfectants used in the medical field

SterilDec Plus, a Class IIB Medical Device, is contained in a practical "press" bottle with a measuring cap for accurate and waste-free dosing.

The extraordinary effectiveness is also combined with a biodegradability of over 90%.
