Cold sterilizer: Paracetic acid, formed from the reaction of sodium percarbonate and tetraacetylethylenediamine (obtained after dissolving the product in water), has an effective biocidal activity against spores, viruses (HIV, HBV, HCV), bacteria, microbacteria, and fungi. At the indicated concentrations (0.3%), it exerts its sterilizing action after 10 minutes of contact. The product is active 15 minutes after dissolution, and the solution thus prepared is active for a maximum of 24 hours. Suitable for rapid cold sterilization and/or disinfection of endoscopes, optical fibers, surgical and dental instruments.
