The MAGUS CBF90 digital microscope camera is a professional tool for taking photographs and recording videos, editing, viewing and saving movies, and organizing demonstrations by displaying the image on an external screen.
The device should be used with 20x, 40x, 60x, and 100x lenses, when working using the brightfield method.
Video Mode
The MAGUS CBF90 has two graphics modes: 2448x2048 px (with a frame rate of 35 fps) and 1224x1024 px (50 fps). This is enough to capture clear informative photographs and smooth videos that accurately record all sample movements and characteristics of the observed processes.
Sensor
The camera uses a back-illuminated Exmor SONY CMOS sensor to improve low-light performance.
The large physical size of the sensor (2/3") improves the image: it intensifies colors, removes distortion and expands the field of view. You can further improve this result by using an adapter with a magnification of 0.7x to 0.9x.
Work faster
The camera's USB 3.0 interface speeds up data transfer by 10 times compared to the previous generation. This feature is especially useful when organizing classroom demonstrations: the audience won't miss anything, and the videos will be smooth and jerky.
Installation
The camera is installed in the trinocular tube of the microscope (requires a C-mount adapter) or the eyepiece tube (requires an adapter and adapter ring of suitable diameter).
