The digital camera MAGUS CBF30 lets you take photographs and record short videos through a microscope, edit the resulting files, organize presentations, and perform linear and angular measurements of objects (after proper calibration).
The device is designed for use with microscopes in brightfield mode and with 4x, 10x, 20x, and 40x objectives.

Imaging features

The 6.3 MP sensor lets you take photos and produce bright, detailed videos at a maximum resolution of 3072x2048 px. If necessary, the resolution can be reduced to 1536x1024 px. However, this will not affect the frame rate, which will remain at 59 fps, ensuring smooth frame transitions without stuttering or delays.

Sensor

The back-illuminated color SONY Exmor CMOS sensor lets you use the camera even in low-light conditions. The image will remain clear and bright. Using an adapter with magnification from 0,5x to 0,75x will provide the clearest possible image without distortion.

Additional features

The MAGUS CBF30 camera uses a USB 3.0 interface, which means that data is transferred as quickly as possible without loss or delay.
The camera also comes with dedicated software for taking photographs and recording videos, editing footage, displaying it on an external screen, and organizing classroom demonstrations.

Installation

The camera can be mounted in the microscope's trinocular tube using a C-mount adapter. It can also be installed in an eyepiece tube, in which case a C-mount adapter and an adapter ring for the tube diameter are required. Note that the C-mount adapter may already be included with the microscope; however, its availability depends on the specific model and configuration. Before purchasing a camera, we recommend checking the contents of the microscope package and then, if necessary, purchasing the appropriate adapters.
