BREATHALYZER AND ELECTROCHEMICAL SENSOR CALIBRATION
Calibration of an electrochemical breathalyzer is an essential procedure for keeping an instrument within its tolerance parameters. Calibration may be required every 1000 tests or at least once a year. These are statistical guidelines; depending on how the device is used, a breathalyzer may sometimes need to be calibrated even before the due date.

If proper calibration is not performed within the specified time frame, the breathalyzer will lose its accuracy, resulting in unreliable readings.

We offer this service to our customers: in addition to calibrating the instrument, all its main functions are checked. The following procedures are carried out at our laboratory:

- Functionality check.
- Breathalyzer/sensor calibration using a “Dry-Solution” or “Wet-Simulator” system.
- Cleaning/replacement of internal tubes.
- Cleaning of the sample intake pump with dry air.
- Pressure probe function check.
- Calibration accuracy check.

To use the calibration service:
1) Prepare the breathalyzer (or just the sensor, if it is a coin-operated breathalyzer), packaged for collection, and enclose a copy of the purchase invoice.
2) Collection from your premises will take place within 3 business days. 
3) The breathalyzer will be returned to your premises, checked and calibrated, within 5 business days.
