The optical system of the Levenhuk Army 8x40 binoculars is based on large Porro prisms and reproduces bright, clear images with well-saturated colors. The high-quality BaK-4 glass features a fully multi-coated anti-reflective coating that improves image contrast and clarity. It is possible to focus on distant targets, but also objects that are only 3 meters away from the observer. The large central focusing wheel with a knurled surface is used to adjust sharpness. The retractable (twist-up) eyecups and diopter adjustment make it easy to adapt the binoculars to your needs.

The sturdy metal hull is water-resistant and nitrogen-filled, to prevent condensation. It also has a standard hole for tripod housing.
