Nelson Levenhuk 7x35 Monocular with Reticle and Compass

The Nelson 7x35 Levenhuk marine monocular has a built-in compass and rangefinder. These instruments allow the monocular to measure the distance to objects and determine the direction of objects with the cardinal points. The monocular is lightweight and long-lasting, and won't take up too much space in a backpack. The use of this tool is recommended for fishing enthusiasts and owners of small boats.

The monocular has a 7x magnification, which is enough to see distant objects in detail. The focus at a short distance is only 3 m. The lenses are made of BaK-4 glass. The fully multi-coated lenses transmit a high-resolution bright image. The waterproof plastic body is filled with nitrogen that prevents the lenses from fogging up.

The instrument has a built-in compass and rangefinder for daytime use (no lighting). A dial is visible in the eyepiece that shows the direction to the object being studied at an angle. The north is 360°, the south is 180°, the east is 90° and the west is 270°.

The rangefinder will be useful for calculating the distance to the object with known dimensions (height). You can also calculate the size of an object if you know the distance from it. For the calculation, the indications of the rangefinder and a special formula will be sufficient.
