OFTYVIT eye drops have been designed to create a moisturizing, lubricating, chelating and protective ophthalmic hydrogel, containing substances with an antioxidant and nourishing effect on eye tissues.

The human eye can be subjected to stress due to excess oxidative phenomena (smog, strong solar radiation, artificial lighting, use of video terminals, tablets, smartphones, etc.) or due to problems related to insufficient assimilation or intake of nutritional elements (organic sulphur, vitamins A and E).

The tear film performs multiple functions and is therefore essential not only for ocular lubrication but is important both for the antioxidant and nourishing function of the ocular surface, and to ensure optimal vision.

In the presence of an altered turnover or low production, these capacities are greatly reduced, leaving the ocular surface exposed to the harmful activity of free radicals.

The patented formulation of OFTYVIT has been designed to ensure optimal lubrication of the ocular surface and to guarantee an antioxidant and nourishing action not only on the surface but also on the internal tissues of the eye.

Carboxymethylcellulose produces a hydrogel that is optimally compatible with the ocular mucosa, and guarantees effective and long-lasting bioadhesion on the ocular surface with a beneficial lubricating and moisturizing effect.

Methylsulfonylmethane (MSM) is found in nature and in the human body as a form of biologically active sulfur and provides the antioxidant and nourishing effect, but not only.

MSM improves the permeability of the cell membrane by promoting the supply of nutrients and vitamins inside the eye, and in particular of Vitamin A and E present in the formulation.

Vitamin A is essential for the development of ocular epithelial tissue and for correct vision even at night; Vitamin E, prevents the oxidation of polyunsaturated fatty acids essential for cellular metabolism.

The synergistic combination of the components can represent a new possibility of an approach to protect against oxidative damage and prevent ocular aging processes, responsible for the onset of numerous eye diseases and the decrease in visual quality with advancing age.

How to use:
Instill 1-2 drops of into the inferior conjunctival fornix of the eye, applying gentle pressure to the body of the vial. It is advisable to repeat the operation 2-4 or more times a day
