The Aeroneb Solo nebulizer is completely made of transparent, pyrogenic plastic material and is latex-free.
A T-adapter allows you to connect the nebulizer unit to the patient circuit.
The Aeroneb Solo System is extremely quiet during operation: 35 dB detected at 0.3 m distance. Since it works without compressed gas, it is suitable for portable applications.
Nebulizer unit:
Dimensions: 67mm x 48mm x 25mm
weight:13.5 g(nebulizer unit + cap)
capacity: max 6 ml
Not sterile. Single patient.
The nebulizer unit and T-adapter included in the package are not sterile.
OPERATIONAL CHARACTERISTICS:
Minimum flow rate: > 0.2 ml/min. (average flow rate tested = 0.38 ml/min.)
Average size of particles generated: mass average aerodynamic diameter (MMAD): 3.4 μm geometric standard deviation (GSD): 2.4.
Residual volume:
Nebulizer performance may vary depending on the type of medication used.
Noise generated during nebulization: 35 dB detected at 0.3 m distance.
Aeroneb Solo has a defined duration.
The Aeroneb Solo nebulizer unit can be used for up to 28 days in intermittent mode (typical profile of 4 cycles/day).
In continuous mode, the Aeroneb Solo nebulizer can be used for up to 7 days. Use of the device beyond the maximum expected period is not authorized.
Temperature: 5° – 45°C
Relative Humidity: 15 - 95% RH (non-condensing)
The Aeroneb Solo nebulizer is a portable system for the continuous or intermittent nebulization of drugs during mechanical ventilation or positive pressure respiratory support. The OnQ aerosol generator contained in the nebulization unit is composed of a micro-perforated cap plate and a vibrating element, whose micropump activity nebulizes the drug. The high number of holes (approximately 1000), made with very high precision, guarantees precise control of the size of the aerosol particles.
Thanks to the force of gravity, the drug comes into contact with the aerosol generator,
where the liquid is pushed through the micro-perforated plate and transformed into an aerosol.
The Aeroneb Solo nebulizer is used together with the Aeroneb Pro-X Control Module which allows the operator to choose the administration mode (intermittent – 30 minutes or continuous). The system is suitable for use on newborns, children and adults.
The Aeroneb Solo has been designed to be compatible with standard breathing circuits. During operation, it does not require any modification of the ventilation parameters and allows the refilling of drugs without interrupting respiratory support.
