The BEAC Perisphera-H vaginal probe with 4 electrodes is designed for perineal re-education through electrical stimulation and EMG biofeedback. This probe features a dual circuit with 4 electrodes arranged radially, allowing the two branches of the pubococcygeus muscle to be treated separately. It is particularly useful for addressing muscle asymmetries, for example after an episiotomy, using two separate channels for electrical stimulation or EMG biofeedback.

The electrodes of the Perisphera-H probe adapt perfectly to the vaginal cavity, thanks to their “H-shaped” profile. The electrode pairs separately detect the EMG action potential of the left and right branches of the pubococcygeus muscle during contraction, providing objective information about the muscular condition of the pelvic floor.

Perisphera probes are made of biocompatible plastic material with gold-plated electrodes. The electrical connection is made using two or four wires approximately 20 cm long, with a female banana connector measuring 2 mm. The probe is compatible with perineal electrical stimulation equipment that delivers symmetrical biphasic pulses.

Each probe is supplied non-sterile in a sealed individual pouch, inside an individual box with an instruction leaflet.

The electrical connection to the stimulation or EMG biofeedback unit is made using two or four wires (approximately 20 cm long) with a female banana connector 2mm. The probe can be used with any perineal electrical stimulation equipment, provided it can deliver symmetrical biphasic pulses (with a zero mean value).

Each probe is supplied NON-STERILE in a sealed individual pouch, placed in an individual box containing the instruction leaflet.

Personal use: It can be used for 60 sessions by a single patient (it cannot be used by multiple patients).
