Biological binocular microscope Levenhuk 850B

The Levenhuk 850B is a biological binocular microscope equipped with planachromatic optics for brightfield observations in transmitted light. It is used in medical centers of different types for urological, dermatological, biological, biochemical, anatomical-pathological, cytological and general clinical laboratory research.

The microscope is equipped with a 360º rotatable binocular head with a 30º tilt angle and a 4-objective nosepiece. The nosepiece with its objectives is oriented towards the inside of the instrument: the user can see which objective is inserted in the optical path and the space above the stage remains free. The interpupillary distance is adjustable within a wide range. The set includes 10x eyepieces with a 22 mm field of view, allowing you to view a large sample area.

The focus of the microscope is adjustable by means of the coarse and fine focus knobs. The focus handles move the stage vertically and horizontally along two axes perpendicular to each other. The table is not equipped with a positioning rack. The low-positioned stage knob enhances the user experience. The sample holder is designed to accommodate two samples. Thanks to the smooth focus adjustment and movement mechanism of the stage, movements are quick and easy.

Using a LED light source increases the resolution of the microscope. The LED is mounted on the base, its brightness can be adjusted, and it lasts a long time before a replacement is necessary. Field and aperture diaphragms enable the Köhler method of illumination. The illuminator operates on AC power (220V power cord included).
