The Pico Polar Levenhuk Discovery Digital Microscope is a biological microscope with a 1.3 MP digital camera. It can be used not only for classic observations of the microcosm, but also to capture photos and videos of your research. This microscope will prove useful for studies and a great choice for scientific hobbies. It is easy to use, even a beginner will have no problem using it. The microscope is sold accompanied by an educational book on the microcosm.
Achromatic optics and micrometric focus
The monocular muzzle can be rotated 360° around the vertical axis. In addition, it can be tilted at 30°. This is useful for prolonged and group observations, as it makes working under the microscope more convenient. The optics, i.e. the achromatic objectives and the wide-field eyepiece, are made of glass. The 40x lens is equipped with a retractable spring protective mechanism that protects the front lens from scratches. The magnification range of this microscope is from 40x to 400x. Sharpness can be adjusted via the side knobs for coarse focusing.
Adjustable LED lighting system
The microscope is equipped with a LED illumination system with brightness adjustment. It is powered by batteries (not included) or by mains power (AC adapter included). The coffee table is equipped with simple clips to secure the slide. The disc diaphragm is positioned under the stage.
A 1.3MP digital camera is included for capturing photos and videos
The 1.3 MP digital camera allows you to show the image of the sample below the lens on an external screen, take photos and record videos. Everything placed on the coffee table comes into his field of vision. The camera installs directly into the eyepiece tube (after removing the standard eyepiece) and connects to the computer via USB cable. You must also install the software included in the kit. The resolution of each frame is 1280x1024 pixels. You can record videos with 30 frames per second, which allows you to have very smooth images. Basic image processing functions (brightness adjustment, image size change, etc.) can also be carried out.
The educational book 'Invisible World' is included
The educational book 'Invisible World' is a pleasant addition to the microscope: a well-written teaching guide with vivid illustrations. It contains the history of the creation of the microscope, descriptions of scientific experiments that you can do at home, a list of the most interesting creatures that populate the microcosm, and much more.
