The Ermenrich Ping MK70 is a clamp meter with DC current measurement function. It also measures alternating current and combines the functions of 6 other measuring instruments: ohmmeter, voltmeter, frequency meter, capacitance meter, duty cycle meter and thermocouple-based temperature sensor. The high reliability of the measurements is guaranteed by the calculation based on a true root mean square value (true RMS value). The extensive functionality meets the needs of amateur craftsmen and professional electricians.
The digital clamp meter is also used for diagnostics of electrical networks and to detect open circuits and short circuits, to test diodes and detect faults, and to detect hidden wiring (NCV function). This model also features advanced features: initial current measurement, frequency converter, low impedance mode (low resistance voltage measurement), zero DC settings (DCA Zero).
The device has additional features that increase convenience by simplifying routine operations: it locks readings on the screen (Lock), stores limit values (Min/Max), makes relative measurements via reference values (REL). The digital clamp meter also has a built-in flashlight and a handy display with an easy-to-read indicator and graph.
The device runs on standard batteries. When the battery is low, a notification appears on the screen. The automatic shut-off feature helps batteries last longer without the need to replace them.
