By means of the Ermenrich Ping MK50 digital clamp meter, electrical devices can be diagnosed and the characteristics of electrical circuits measured. Both AC and DC current are measured without breaking the circuit. The device also functions as a voltmeter, ohmmeter, thermocouple, and duty cycle, frequency, and capacitance meter. All measurements are made using the true RMS method, which is true root mean square value that increases accuracy.
