Description
The Ermenrich NetGeeks NP10 is a cable and PoE tester designed to test network cables and telephone cables and verify power transmission via ethernet, the presence of open circuits or short circuits as well as identify the connection of the power supply equipment (PSE): midspan, i.e. integrated into the data line, or endspan, at the end of the line. This tester is easy to use, thanks to its simple control buttons and therefore lends itself to both amateur and professional use.
The instrument consists of a transmitter and a receiver. The transmitter has three ports: RJ45, RJ11, and PoE. The receiver has a single port for RJ45 and RJ11. Only the transmitter needs power, which is provided by a 9 V battery.
