Metallurgical lens designed for research at long working distances. Suitable for working with raised samples. The working distance of the lens is 2.08 mm. Cover glass is not required for operation. The objective lens is designed to be used with microscopes with an infinitely correct optical system. The focal length of the lens is 45mm.
The 60x planachromatic objective corrects chromatic aberration for red and blue colors and spherical aberration for green. The field of view is in focus both in the center and at the edges – 90%. Therefore, the lens works well with eyepieces with a wide field of view of 22mm. The highest image detail is achieved in combination with eyepieces with magnification from 5 to 15x. Pairing with a 10x/22mm eyepiece will produce a 0.36mm field of view.
The maximum resolution of the lens is 0.39 μm. The model generates a microscope-useful magnification of 350x to 700x.
