Objective for observations in transmitted and reflected polarized light. The lenses do not create distortion or birefringence and do not affect the result of the observation.
The SFR80 lens has 80x magnification and a resolution limit of 0.35 μm. It combines with microscopes equipped with an infinitely correct optical system. The parfocal distance is 45 mm. Cover glass is not required for operation.
The lens optics correct the curvature of the field by more than 90% of the observed area. The image is sharp both in the center and on the sides. The wide field of view is suitable for use in conjunction with a type camera or wide-field eyepiece. A 10x/22 mm eyepiece will provide a field of view of 0.27 mm. Spherical aberration is corrected for the color green, while the chromatic aberration is corrected for red and blue colors.
With the SFR80, the lowest limit of the possible magnification of the microscope is 400x and the highest is 800x. To achieve this useful magnification, we recommend pairing the objective with eyepieces with magnification of 5x to 10x. Eyepieces with a magnification of less than 5x will not be useful for observations, and eyepieces with a magnification greater than 10x will not produce more information.
