The MAGUS CBF10 digital camera is designed to work together with a microscope: photographing, recording video and viewing images on an external screen. Its features are best suited for brightfield work on objectives for 4x and 10x flatfield microscopes and stereo microscopes.
Sensor
The MAGUS CBF10 camera is equipped with an Aptina CMOS sensor with a light sensitivity of 0.62 mV/lux/s. You can achieve the maximum field of view without distortion by using an adapter with 0.4x to 0.6x magnification.
Photo and video recording
The 18 MP sensor allows you to obtain a realistic and highly detailed image with a resolution of 4912x3684 px. In this mode, the video is captured at 13.1 fps. You can increase the frame rate and, as a result, improve the smoothness of the video by reducing the resolution. Available options: 2456x1842 px (34.3 fps) and 1228x922 px (54.4 fps). In any of the selected modes, it is convenient to adjust the focus of the microscope. Modes with increased frame rates are suitable for studying moving objects and fast processes, as well as for presentations and demonstrations.
Interface
A USB interface is used to connect to a computer 3.0. Data transfer is 10 times faster than the previous generation interface. The camera's fast performance makes it an excellent choice for professional laboratories, research, and university education.
Software features
The MAGUS CBF10 camera includes a software CD. It is used for photography, video shooting, viewing images and their editing. After software calibration, linear and angular measurements can be made.
Installation
The camera can be installed in the eyepiece tube (instead of an eyepiece) or in a trinocular tube. C-mount adapters and adapter rings for the required mounting diameter are purchased separately.
