Perineal probe for incontinence re-education by electrostimulation and emg biofeedback

Characterized by two spherical electrodes, it is intended for the global, undifferentiated and simultaneous stimulation of the puborectal and pubococcygeus muscles, regardless of the orientation of insertion into the vagina. The large stimulation surface, determined by the area of the two spherical electrodes, allows the optimal recruitment of the muscle groups involved in the control of continence.

The PERISPHERA-O vaginal probe is suitable for couch therapy and can be used by both the practitioner and the patient directly.

The particular construction shape, in addition to guaranteeing a perfect anatomical adaptation with the vaginal walls, allows easy introduction and comfortable retention by the patient.

PERISPHERA perineal probes are made entirely of biocompatible plastic material, with gold metallized electrodes.

The electrical connection with the EMG stimulation or biofeedback unit is obtained by means of two or four wires (approximately 20 cm long) with a 2mm female banana termination. The probe can be used with any perineal electrostimulation equipment, as long as it is able to deliver symmetrical bi-phasic pulses (with zero average value).

Each probe is supplied UNSTERILIZED in a single sealed bag, placed in an individual box containing the package leaflet.
