The MAGUS CLM10 is an affordable model of monochrome microscope camera for shooting in fluorescent or darkfield lighting conditions. The 2.3 MP matrix produces an image with a resolution of 1920x1200 px. The frame rate of 120 fps allows you to shoot a moving object. The video is vivid and realistic with no lag or shortcomings. The quality of the footage is suitable for outdoor viewing and demonstrations. The camera works with medium and high magnification lenses: 40x, 60x and 100x. Integration with medium magnification lenses allows you to see fine elements better. The device's built-in USB 3.0 interface has a high data transfer speed and is suitable for professional laboratory research and college-level training.
The camera comes with its own software. The software allows you to take photos and record videos independently, edit images and measure the linear and angular dimensions of an object and its structure. Before you begin measurements, you must calibrate the device for each objective using a calibration slide.
The camera is equipped with a Sony monochrome CMOS sensor from the Exmor line. It is famous for its backlight technology, which gives the camera high light sensitivity with a small matrix size. In the MAGUS CLM10 camera, the matrix size is 1/1.2'' with a pixel size of 5.86x5.86 μm and provides a photosensitivity of 1016 mV at a shutter speed of 1/30 second. The device may shoot in low light or fluorescent light. The monochromatic matrix will not allow you to distinguish the colors of the object, but it will make the image very contrasty. The widest field of view without distortion can be achieved with an adapter with 0.75–1x magnification.
The camera's global shutter reads the signal from all pixels at once. This results in an image without distortion, even if the object of observation moves quickly.
The camera is connected to the microscope using a C-mount adapter. There are two connection options: in the trinocular tube or in an eyepiece tube. In the latter case, you will need an adapter ring to fit the size of the pipe.
