Levenhuk Discovery Nano is a classic basic monocular microscope for observing samples with 40—400x magnification. With this microscope, you can examine both ready-made slides contained in kits and self-prepared specimens. It is the perfect tool for a first introduction to the microcosm, as it allows you to perform simple scientific experiments directly at home. He will be a great assistant for studying biology in school. The kit includes everything you need for observations, including accessories and the colorful 'Invisible World' educational book.
The optical design consists of achromatic objectives and a wide-field eyepiece. All lenses are made of optical glass, so they reproduce a sharp and contrasted image. The microscope allows you to observe small components in the entire magnification range. The 40x objective lens is equipped with a retractable spring protective mechanism. The monocular head can be tilted at 30°, so you won't get fatigued when working under a microscope for a long time.
The stage is equipped with sample clips and a disc diaphragm with six openings for adjusting the light beam. The microscope uses double- LED illumination, i.e. placed both above and below the stage. This allows the study of samples of any degree of transparency. The lighting is powered by a standard battery, already included in the kit.
In addition, the microscope is sold accompanied by the educational book 'Invisible World'. This colorful book illustrates all the complexities that you will encounter in the use of the instrument, such as, for example, what are the parts of the microscope and their functions, what bacteria and protozoa look like, what you can see in a drop of water and much more, all always in clear and simple language. In addition to the theoretical aspects, the book also describes interesting experiments that can be conducted at home, using the Nano Levenhuk Discovery microscope.
