Book of 38 plates
The examination of dyschromatopsia requires a high level of sensitivity and specificity.
This series of tables makes it possible to detect color blindness in people who cannot read and abnormalities in color perception from an early age.
The tables are designed with simple geometric shapes, as the person examined may not be able to understand complicated shapes.
The test provides a quick and accurate assessment of any congenital dyschromatopsias.
In most cases, the anomaly in color perception consists in the lack of red-green distinction, which can be of two types:
- protane, absolute (protanopia) or partial (protanomaly)
- deutan, absolute (deuteranopia) or partial (deuteranomaly)
