This life-size, unisex anatomical model consists of 25 parts.
Accuracy and attention to the smallest details make our models an essential tool for the study of anatomy.
The most important structures are numbered and identified by their corresponding serial numbers, supplied with the product. In addition, the CD-ROM guide provides extensive further information.
The head is presented in an open configuration, exposing half of the brain.
The neck is sectioned ventrally to best show the muscular, neural and glandular structures. The completely open thorax and abdomen allow an unrestricted view of the internal organs and details.
Independent male and female urogenital systems can be inserted into and interchanged within the torso.
The following removable structures are included with the anatomical model:
- Half of the brain, sectioned along the longitudinal fissure, complete with internal structures and blood vessels
- Eyes with optic nerve and extraocular muscles
- Descending thoracic aorta and esophagus
- Right and left lungs showing the bronchial tree and vascular structures
- Two-part heart illustrating the atria, ventricles, heart valves, and a section through the ventricular wall of the heart.
- Half of a kidney, sectioned along the frontal plane to best show the internal structures and blood vessels
- Kidney, ureter and bladder, with prostate (removable in two parts)
- Stomach, showing muscular and vascular structures
- Pancreas, duodenum and spleen with blood vessels and ducts
- Liver with gallbladder
- Rectum and large intestine with a removable cover revealing the internal structure of the cecum
- Male and female urogenital organs (each in 4 parts), sectioned along the midline. They provide an excellent illustration of the internal organs
