VisioFocus is the world's most advanced thermometer for accurately measuring body temperature. Totally hygienic, without touching the skin, VisioFocus reads the infrared radiation naturally emitted by the skin and calculates body temperature.

It does not need to be disinfected and does not require the use of disposable hygiene protection. Thanks to its exclusive technology, VisioFocus is an essential tool for controlling the spread of viruses (such as Ebola, H1N1 influenza, SARS, Covid) in pandemic situations.

In fact, VisioFocus guarantees maximum hygiene, thus significantly reducing the risk of transmission of the virus during the detection of body temperature, both for patients and operators (as could be the case using traditional thermometers).

It is possible to easily measure the body temperature on the forehead by proceeding in this way:
- Press and hold the "Face" button: the two aiming lights will be activated and the temperature value will be projected on the forehead and shown on the display.
- Bring the thermometer closer perpendicularly to the center of the forehead until the temperature is visible between the two arches. If the thermometer is held too close or too far from the forehead, the temperature will be displayed on the outside of the two arcs.
- When the temperature is displayed exactly between the arcs, the thermometer is at the correct distance for accurate body temperature measurement: release the button and hold the thermometer steady until the lights flash. It is also possible to read the temperature value on the display which will back-light with a blue light.

There are situations in which the detection of body temperature on the forehead is not optimal. For example, when a person has a sweaty forehead, the temperature detected may be lower than the real one. In fact, our body uses the forehead as a cooling system for the head to protect the brain. So even if the sweat droplets are removed, the forehead will still be cold and will not reflect the correct body temperature. The same occurs in the presence of patients with an oxygen mask: the vapor that comes out of it affects the temperature of the subject's forehead, altering the measurement. Even in the case of elderly people, especially with wrinkled foreheads, the temperature detected on the forehead may be lower than the real one. This is because in such situations there is reduced surface vascularization, consequently the forehead may not reflect body temperature correctly. In these cases, it is advisable to take body temperature at the eyelid.

There is no danger if the person were to open their eyes during the temperature measurement: the lights are totally harmless.

The eyelid becomes a valid alternative, as it is able to provide a temperature similar to the temperature of the forehead and is less subject to temperature changes.

The other thermometers used in recent pandemics to screen for Ebola are either laser-equipped or have no pointing system at all to give the correct distance. In the first case, there is a risk of permanently damaging the person's eyes. In the second, it is not possible to identify the correct temperature detection distance.

Unlike laser thermometers, VisioFocus lights are totally safe, in fact they are NOT lasers but simple diodes LED!

VisioFocus is the only thermometer that allows you to measure the body temperature on the eyelid when the forehead is not accessible.

This method of detecting body temperature, precise and safe, therefore allows you to detect the body temperature of women wearing burqas or chadors without making them undress.
Functional Features

AIMING SYSTEM
One of the most critical aspects of non-contact body temperature measurement is that the distance from the surface whose temperature you want to determine, the forehead in the case of body temperature, is the distance for which the thermometer has been calibrated. This is important because, if the distance between the thermometer and the object is correct, the temperature will be correct; If the distance changes, the temperature reading will change uncontrollably due to the conical shape of the field of view, i.e. the range of action of the sensor.

VisioFocus is designed with an exclusive and patented pointing system capable of indicating the correct distance and the precise point where to take the temperature.

No other thermometer in the world is able to do this, apart from Thermofocus.

CALIBRATION SYSTEM
All infrared thermometers must know perfectly and maintain a constant room temperature in order to be able to correctly process the temperature detected on the forehead. For this reason, all manufacturers advise to wait a certain amount of time (usually 10 to 30 minutes or even more, depending on the temperature difference) before using the thermometer, in case it is moved from one room to another with different temperatures. VisioFocus, like Thermofocus, eliminates this waiting time thanks to two unique stabilization systems: AQCS and MQCS.
If VisioFocus is set to doct mode, in the event of a very fast change in the temperature of the device, the display shows the time it takes for the device to quickly stabilize itself by means of a countdown. This system is called AQCS (Automatic Quick Calibration System) and is normally able to stabilize the device in about 3 minutes. Alternatively, you can use the MQCS (Manual Quick Calibration System) system that allows the device to immediately stabilize at room temperature in just 3 seconds.

Through the MQCS system, the thermometer is always perfectly stabilized at room temperature, regardless of the room temperature and the heating induced by the handling of the thermometer by the user.
