Diathermy, also known as Tecartherapy (an acronym for Capacitive and Resistive Energy Transfer), is a therapy that stimulates the body's natural repair processes, shortening motor recovery times.

Diathermy, through the interaction of electromagnetic energy with tissue, produces a uniform and controlled increase in temperature within the tissues. This interaction results in an ionic flow with microhyperemia that promotes the release of endogenous "substances" (especially cortisol and endorphins) to reduce pain, swelling, and inflammation.

The new capacitive/resistive CR200 is a modern, high-performance device. Preset programs make it easy to use. Furthermore, the device can be configured with parameters (power, therapy duration, resistive/capacitive mode) according to therapeutic needs.
It allows you to save customized programs. This way, patient protocols are easily accessible to therapists at any time. It features a large graphic display to view therapeutic parameters and various operating modes.

Capacitive mode
Ceramic-coated electrode (mobile) and return plate (fixed). Particularly suitable for soft tissue (muscle mass and lymphatic/vascular system). Advantages: targeted intervention: easy control of the treated area.

Resistive mode
Non-insulated (mobile) electrode and return plate (fixed). Particularly suitable for highly resistant tissues (bones, joints, tendons, ligaments, cartilage). Benefits: high level of diathermy; chronic disorders with fibrosis and degeneration.
